I began talking with Steve about six months ago.  Steve is very knowledgeable about the draws (which is extremely important to us non-residents) in the western states.  I have talked with him at length about different areas for several species of game.  Steve has put me in touch with an outfitter in one of the western states that I feel very comfortable with as a person. 

I believe honesty is the most important factor when choosing an outfitter and Steve is very honest.  We have discussed numerous hunts and I have recently purchased an elk hunt based on information found by Steve.  Speaking only from my dealings with Steve, I find him to be honest and to have a great deal of integrity.  Those are the qualities that will keep me discussing hunting with Steve and I know he will steer me in the right direction.

In 2010 my brother and I wanted to plan a DIY hunt for out west. Traveling from NH to the western states is a huge undertaking. Its not easy to get all of the logistics down when you are 2000 miles away. I sent out several help requests online and Steve answered me. He has been very helpful to us. He listened to what animal we wanted to hunt and the terrain we were looking to get into. I bounced several questions off of him and was able to narrow the areas down that we want to hunt. Now, if time will allow, we will hopefully be traveling out to Wyoming this coming fall. So a big thanks to Steve hopefully we will talk again soon.

I worked with Steve to book an Oryx hunt for our party of 4 in New Mexico for Spring 2011.  Steve worked with our party to determine our schedule/goals and provided options for both New Mexico and Texas, which ended up being a better alternative. Steve knows these areas well and was also able to provide a good mix of additional species to hunt while we were there.
 
I also worked with Steve to book an Elk hunt in Montana this fall (2011). Steve was able to assist me through the Montana application process (an effort if you aren’t familiar) with ease, which landed me a non-resident Elk/Deer tag!  He was very knowledgeable of the areas and has been extremely helpful, helping me along the way from permits to logistics in getting my meat, hides and horns home. In my short time working with Steve, I can safely say that is genuinely interested in your success. I would highly recommend him for any of the services he provides.
